Welcome to Our Today’s Post – Full Update on BISP 8171 Program (August 2025). The purpose of today’s post is to provide you with complete details regarding the BISP 8171 program updates for August 2025. This includes when the new installment payments will start, when the newly registered beneficiaries will receive their payments, and how much they will receive. We will also cover why some women are declared ineligible, what the eligibility criteria are for verification, how to check your registration, and whether the new registration phase has started or not. This post also explains what women who face fingerprint verification issues should do and how to check your registration through the 8171 BISP portal. All your queries are answered below.
Benazir Income Support Program
This is a massive government-led initiative that provides financial assistance to millions of women every month through the 8171 system. Additionally, various other supportive programs like Benazir Taleemi Wazaif, Nashonuma Program, Aghosh Program, and Hunarmand Program are linked to this scheme to offer financial and social support.
Latest Important Note August 2025
Those beneficiaries whose payments had been returned earlier are now being reprocessed. Payments have already been deposited in many accounts under Bank of Punjab. Insha’Allah, updates about other banks will be provided by tomorrow. As we had informed earlier, payments would begin to return by the 26th of this month.
Who Doesn’t Receive BISP Payments?
Each year, millions of women benefit from the BISP program. However, many are excluded. This includes women who are receiving benefits from other government schemes like the Youth Loan Scheme, Ration Card Program, Kisan Card Program, Wheat Subsidy Program, etc. If a woman or her husband is receiving support under any of these programs, she may be disqualified from BISP.
Women whose CNICs have expired or who have passports under their name or their mother’s name may also be disqualified. Households where someone holds a government job, owns property, or has monthly bank transactions exceeding Rs. 50,000 are likely to be considered ineligible. Every year, new women are added to the program to ensure fresh inclusion and fairness.
